If you’ve been wondering what is up with Bullet For My Valentine, wonder no more!
The boys from Wales are working away on their new album.   Pulse Of Radio says they posted a
teaser online for its fifth studio album, tentatively due out in August. Frontman Matt Tuck told Metal Hammer about the band’s approach this time, “What we really wanted to capture was the feeling of that excitement, that angst and that anger, that you finally get in that moment to let the world know who you are and what you want to say. Then, as the albums go on, and you get a bit older, that goes away. So we’re like, ‘Let’s recapture that angst of that younger, feisty Bullet that we used to be.’”  Tuck told us not long ago why getting back to their roots is a good idea: “You know, the best time in any band’s career is when it’s fresh and everything’s starting out, and you just get that amazing feeling of like, you know, we’ve made something of ourselves and there’s an amazing road ahead. You know, sometimes that gets a little bit lost after you’ve been on the road for a few years, you know.”  The band is touring with Slipknot in July and August and will be doing a big ole headlining run in January.  Next week when I am with their managers, I will find out when the new music is due.

Speaking of Slipknot, in the UK, a new photo book, “Dysfunctional Family Portraits” by photographer Paul Harris, is releasing.  An exhibit is taking place in London.  Check it out here.

OK, people. I am usually never catty, but this here video will show you exactly whyScott Weiland is no longer in Stone Temple Pilots or Velvet Revolver.  (He blamed this performance on his ear monitors not working!) WOW.  I feel badly for his band.

Next week is huge in the hardDrive Radio studios! We’ll have Duff McKagan, Faith No More, Of Mice & MenButcher Babies, oh, and tomorrow, Muse.
