Rush give a charitable donation to the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research

Gord Downie is the frontman for iconic Canadian alt-rock band the Tragically Hip. In May he has diagnosed with a terminal brain tumor. Rush donated their $40k, 2017 Allan Slaight Humanitarian Spirit Award to Downie’s fund for Brain Cancer Research.
