boygenius‘ the record debuts in the top 10 on this week’s edition of the Billboard 200.
The debut full-length effort from the trio — made up of Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker — starts at #4 on the chart with a total of 67,000 equivalent album units, 53,000 of which were traditional album sales.
the record is the first top-10 Billboard 200 album from any of the boygenius members, separately or collectively. It also gave them their first #1 record in the U.K.
boygenius is playing Coachella this weekend, followed by a full U.S. tour kicking off in June.
