The reunited Blink-182 finally took the stage last Friday during their last-minute set at Coachella. The performance marked the first time Tom DeLonge had played together live with Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker since 2014.
Following the show, DeLonge took to Instagram to declare, “From break ups, to plane crashes, to cancer … [Blink-182] is f****** back.”
Of course, DeLonge is referring to Blink’s initial breakup in 2005 and his subsequent split with the band in 2015 following their 2009 reunion, the 2008 plane crash Barker survived that killed four people and Hoppus’ battle with cancer in 2021.
“We’ve only just begun to offend,” DeLonge adds.
Meanwhile, Hoppus shared photos from the set on his Instagram, while Barker posted a video from behind his drum set during the performance.
According to Setlist.fm, Blink’s Coachella show featured renditions of classics including “All the Small Things,” “What’s My Age Again?” and “I Miss You,” as well as the new single “Edging,” which the band released last fall following news of DeLonge’s return.
Blink-182 will launch a full tour starting in the U.S. in May. The group’s worldwide trek was originally scheduled to kick off in Mexico in March, but was delayed due to Barker requiring surgery on his finger.
