Michael Tran/FilmMagicGlenn Danzig has announced the details of his first Blackest of the Black festival, held May 26-27 in Silverado, California.
In keeping with Danzig’s aesthetic, the festival will feature an attraction called Castle Danzig, which a press release describes as “a fully immersive walkthrough experience of agony, ecstasy and more,” all based on the musician’s own graphic novels. Inside Castle Danzig you’ll find a “sacrifice altar” a “padded cell” and, um, a “bondage stage.”
As for the music at Blackest of the Black, the band Danzig will perform a headlining set at the festival. Additional performers include Suicidal Tendencies, Ministry and Atreyu, among others.
