Paramore‘s concert in Birmingham, England, over the weekend featured a surprise midshow proposal in the audience.
Not only that, the fan who did the proposing popped the question using Paramore song titles.
“You’re ‘The Only Exception,'” the proposal went. “‘All I Wanted’ was you. You’re my ‘Last Hope.'”
Happily, no one had to worry about any “Misery Business,” as the proposal was gleefully accepted. Footage of the moment was posted by the Paramore Tour Updates fan account.
By the way, a proposal wasn’t the only surprise on Paramore’s U.K. tour. During the outing’s closing show in London on Sunday, Bloc Party‘s Kele Okereke joined Paramore onstage for a performance of the Silent Alarm track “Blue Light.” Paramore Tour Updates has video of that, as well.
Bloc Party opened for Paramore during the tour, and will also provide support on Hayley Williams and company’s upcoming U.S. trek, beginning in May.
