Godsmack’s sixth album 1000HP is getting a vinyl reissue, set for release on Aug. 8.

Originally released in 2014, the 1000HP release will include a standard black vinyl edition and a limited-edition color vinyl version. The black vinyl will feature the original album cover with all remastered tracks. The limited edition vinyl will include the album’s alternate cover (previously only available in all non-U.S. markets), a bonus 7” single of “Inside Yourself,” and “Life Is Good,” which is appearing on vinyl for the first time.

1000HP was mixed and produced by Dave Fortman, who worked with Godsmack on their previous album, The Oracle. It featured singles like “1000hp,” “Something Different,” and “What’s Next” and debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart upon its release in 2014.

Formed in 1992, Godsmack consists of lead singer and rhythm guitarist Sully Erna, bassist Robbie Merrill, lead guitarist Tony Rombola and drummer Shannon Larkin. Over the past 20 years, the band has earned 13 No. 1 singles on rock radio and four Grammy nominations. Lighting Up The Sky, their eighth album, was released in 2023.
