Credit: Mikael Eriksson/Infernal DeathIt looks like one of Ghost‘s Nameless Ghouls has been unmasked. Swedish musician Martin Persner has revealed that he used to play guitar in the demonic metal band, which consists of a face-painted anti-Pope frontman who goes by the name Papa Emeritus and a group of mask-wearing Nameless Ghouls.
Persner revealed the news in a video posted to Vimeo. He also announces that he’ll be resurrecting his old band Magna Carta Cartel, which also featured Tobias Forge, who is widely believed to be Ghost’s Papa Emeritus.
Ghost released a new EP called Popestar, featuring the single “Square Hammer,” last year. They’ll be opening for Iron Maiden on their North American The Book of Souls tour this summer.
