Starbright Village at McKinney Park in Odessa, TX
Gather your loved ones, grab your hot cocoa, and get ready to be dazzled by the largest light display in West Texas! Starbright Village is a holiday wonderland that brings joy to all ages. This is a free drive through or walk through light display held at McKinney Park. Featuring over millions of lights, this is a fun family-friendly thing to do this holiday season! Wander through the enchanting displays, featuring everything from cowboys and Christmas soldiers to poinsettias and much more. Hours are Monday-Thursday 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM and Friday – Saturday 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM. Drive through: If you’re driving through, grab the family some hot cocoa, cozy snacks, warm jackets or blankets if you want to roll down your windows, and tune to 1 to listen to Christmas tunes. Walk through: If you’re walking through, bundle up with warm clothing, hats and gloves, and get ready for a holiday stroll through the village. DETAILS HERE.
Midland’s Merry Lights at Centennial Park, Midland, TX
This festive celebration brings the community together with stunning light displays, interactive installations for all ages, and cheerful music that fills the air. Visitors can stroll along illuminated pathways, snap holiday photos at charming spots, and enjoy exclusive specials from local businesses, including extended hours, seasonal treats, and festive discounts. Carriage Rides with Rockin RA Carriages at Downtown Midland
Enjoy magical holiday carriage rides through Midland Merry Lights! Rides begin at 6:00 PM on each scheduled night, with pick-up and drop-off located on Loraine at Texas Ave. A fee is required at the time of the ride. Comanche Trail Festival of Lights in Big Spring, TX
This annual event lights up Comanche Trail Park with hundreds of thousands of holiday lights. It’s entirely free to attend and draws over 25,000 visitors from more than 30 states and several countries. The park comes alive with nearly 700,000 twinkling lights, including whimsical displays like giant candy canes, poinsettias, and winter wonderland scenes.The Festival of Lights runs nightly now through December 31st, from 6pm – 10pm.
